I confess, I’m bored with GenX male writers retrospectives on artists and albums that were seminal for teenage-me. I always enjoy reading the guys’ writing of the facts in the 40-year-rear-view mirror about INXS and Madonna but I want to remember how those peak cultural experiences of my youth made me, made us, feel.
